The lessons can be arranged freely, both during the day and in the evening. The lessons are given one by one. Group lessons are also possible if we get enough students.

Lessons take place in the music studio of Kenny Clarys in Houthalen-Helchteren.

One lesson lasts (at least) 60 minutes.

In this trial lesson you can get to know me as a teacher and experience whether the harmonium is for you. You can already play the harmonium and ask all your questions.

The trial lesson takes about an hour and it’s free.

After this trial lesson you will have the option of a unique discount if you take a 10 or 20 lesson package.

No problem. You can play using an extra harmonium during the first lessons. In the meantime, you can look for a harmonium to buy. Kenny can give you all the advice about purchasing a harmonium, where and which type you can buy.

Prices of a harmonium vary from € 250 (2 hands) to new between € 550 and € 900.

For those who can already play the piano, a harmonium is very different from the piano. The keys are smaller and you only have one hand to play. Of course you have an advantage if you already play the piano, because you already know how to find the notes and have already developed some finger flexibility. Yet harmonium is very different.

The combination of pumping air with the left hand and playing with the right hand is completely new and different from the piano.

You also learn, with only one hand available, to play the melody, chords and rhythm at the same time. This is completely different from the piano, because you always have two hands with a piano.

ABOUT THE LESSONS
You can reschedule once per 10 lessons for personal reasons. Illness is always force majeure and this lesson is caught up within the week after you are healed again.
If you want to cancel a lesson a second time, this is only allowed if you call at least a week in advance. If you cancel a lesson less than a week in advance, it will be charged.
A 10-lesson package is valid for 14 weeks from the first lesson.

You can always record or film the lessons.
